Wattle Glen

Wattle Glen Garden open to public 15th/16th October 2016 click here

With a remnant bushland backdrop, this extensive garden in Wattle Glen is a great example of how traditional natives, indigenous plants and considered design create a unified sense of place. Balance and contrast is achieved in the 'mass' of themed plantings, mounds and basalt boulder outcrops that open up to 'voids' of pathways, ponds and low planted areas. Detailed planting softens transitions between hard and soft landscapes. Heavy boundary planting evokes a strong connection with bushland beyond the garden.
